La Casona Wine

Vinification
We use traditional winemaking practices aimed at extracting color, aromas and flavors with minimal intervention. Once the wine has undergone malolactic fermentation, it goes into French oak barrels where it will age for 13 months. After bottling it is further aged in our cellars of another 10 months before we release it.

Color Bright and deep ruby red color with noticeable violet hues.

Aromas Pleasant red berries ripe aromas with a hint of cassis, some spice tonalities such as pepper and vanilla, and subtle smoke fragances from the barrel in wich it was aged.

Flavors On the palate the flavors are consistent with the aromas, showing delicious nuances of wild berries within a well balanced body that displays soft and well matured tannins leading to a long and soft vevety finish.
